Overall, this extensive report proves the huge demand for cooking at all ages.
A History of Success
Top Secret Chefs is a division of the Top Secret Kids Corporation which was organized in 1995 as a 501(c) (3) charitable nonprofit organization. Since that time the Top Secret Kids has been educating and entertaining children all around the world. We have 250 affiliates in over 20 countries and have worked with over 40 million children.
We offer numerous low cost and high value opportunities to support our mission of providing fantastic hands-on educational programs to children of all ages. Overall, we work with over 1,000 local children in the Boston area each week. In 2008 we added Top Secret Chefs and we have created thousands of programs across the country and internationally in helping children discover the many joys of cooking.

Our culinary experts have spent a great deal of time looking at thousands of potential recipes and now have created a wonderful and spectacular mix of simple foods that are taught in an entertaining way. We know that it takes a perfect blend of cooking experience, building rapport and having fun with tens of thousands of children, and the right products and services to be successful. Our Passion
Cooking is a fascinating adventure of fantastic discoveries and imaginative investigation that affects us every day. Unfortunately, cooking is not viewed as a priority at a young age which means that a child’s natural curiosity can diminish, and over time they can lose interest. But, cooking offers skills that can be essential to understanding the complexities and opportunities of everyday life.
Our vision is to instill a very high level of enthusiasm and inquisitiveness about cooking.
This will excite children to learn at any early age by opening their minds and increasing their interest to further learning in the future. At Top Secret Chefs we offer a wonderful environment where your child can build a foundation that will open the doors to a lifetime of learning.
Benefits
Cooking also offers numerous other benefits. Kids need to understand their own health and bodies and what they put in them to survive. With child obesity at 20%, it is essential for children to know what is in food and the consequences of eating poorly at an early age. Without proper nutrition children will rely too much on fast foods and unfortunately continue this spiral of poor eating.
Another benefit is that the kitchen is one of the few places where everyone comes together as a family. We try to create more opportunities for family time and bonding so that everyone wins. Kids will realize that they are an important part of the team and can actually contribute to its well being.
And lastly, children can increase their self esteem in the kitchen. With the help of parents, kids can feel a sense of self worth by creating something from scratch and having it turn into a delicious product. Although we as adults tend to not appreciate the little things, children can make us see how important the simple accomplishment of just making some soup can be to a child.
New Skills in the Kitchen
Children will learn a wide range of skills probably without even knowing it. Cooking is a process that has a beginning and an ending and the great thing about the ending is that the kids can have a great meal that they cooked hands-on. There are a tremendous amount of different life skills that can be learned from cooking. Cooking is all about math, science, geography, reading, health, nutrition, and history along with the ability to problem solve, and develop both social and fine motor skills. Just look at a few of the individual skills: counting, vocabulary, shapes, food groups, experimenting, weighing, fractions, culture, family history, sorting, chemical reactions, responsibility, team work, safety, sequencing, creativity, sensory aptitudes, healthy eating, sharing, pouring, chopping, mixing, etc. There is no other activity that a child can learn as much in such a short period of time.
Birthday Parties
Cooking is fun and magical! That’s what children say who have experienced a Top Secret Chef’s birthday party. It’s action packed and exciting – the ultimate party! America’s love affair with cooking has been endless and children’s education in cooking has just begun.
At a Top Secret Chef’s birthday party, children learn how to measure, pour, mix and stir their own wonderful party foods. They even get to decorate their own chef hats or aprons. We bring all of the supplies and the kids do all the cooking and of course there is no mess.
Our team of chefs will come to your home and prepare with your children three recipes from your choice of a wide selection of cool parties. While the entree is cooking the children will have time to decorate their aprons, play some games, learn about proper table setting etiquette and maybe even learn some napkin folding. Each child will leave with a goody bag of treats including their aprons, laminated recipe cards of the meals, some other surprises, and any take home food that they prepared. The entire party lasts about 1 1/2 hours. Parties can be celebrated 7 days a week and offer excellent value at a great price.

Do you remember the commercial “Calgon, take me away?” Don’t we all dream sometimes of being lost within ourselves without our partners or children after a long stressful day. We desire a special place to feel good about ourselves and regroup with all that life sends our way.
Sometimes we can escape by curling up to a good book or sometimes we just need to let go by taking a long hot bath. Whatever and wherever that hidden Shangri La is, we seek relaxing moments to ease our day and help us get back on track.
Over the past few years, the amount of day spas has quadrupled and now appears in large urban areas, suburbs, and shopping malls, offering a range of treatments created to calm the body and mind. People are more stressed out than ever before and are increasingly looking for convenient ways to decompress without taking time off to travel to the edges of the earth in search of peace and serenity. Therefore, day spas have taken a larger role in peoples’ lives and continue to reinvent the way people deal with stress by offering more spa services in shorter amounts of time.
In response to customer demand, more and more salons are introducing classic day spa services into their menus, allowing people to integrate pampering and relaxation appointments. We all know that these services however come at a significant price.

We will create 5 different products that each one of your friends will create and produce. These are spa products that pamper and indulge, skin care products that cleanse, buff and moisturize and body products that revitalize, soothe and leave your body beautiful. You will receive the formulas/recipes and step by step instructions with our Girls Night Out hostess for homemade products such as a oatmeal & brown sugar scrub, chocolate lip gloss, strawberry & crème body wash, Victorian heart soaps, sheer luscious lipstick, cookie cutter soaps, Cleopatra’s milk bath, secret garden bath teas and skin softening powders as well as many others to choose from. Get ready for a night you won’t forget and if you have special guys that want to experience the fun have them come along too. It’s easy and there is no mess!

Our cooking lessons are lessons for life. Family time and dinnertime have changed dramatically over the past 30 years. Top Secret Chefs wants to bring families together in the kitchen again. By teaching children and adults quick meal solutions, healthy alternatives, and increasing the comfort level of families in the kitchen, we believe we can help create stronger healthier families. Dinnertime is the perfect time to share responsibilities, communicate with each other, and be creative!
Our weekly classes are a great opportunity to sharpen life-skills and stir-up creativity! Join us each week as we explore a wonderful array of dishes. Each week is based on a different theme with new recipes and skills. We might look at recipes from around the world, or look at new tastes from culinary masters such as Rachael Ray and Emeril Lagasse, and all the while learning about the kitchen, food shopping and basic food equipment. Overall we will explore many topics of study in a fun and interactive setting.
Our highly qualified staff of teachers and chefs are on hand to make each cooking class a memorable experience for the students. Parents will be surprised to watch as their “top secret chef” grows with confidence and knowledge as they create these recipes at home for them!
